Hi, I’m Avery! I am a Licensed Masters Level Social Worker with 4 years of clinical experience in
working with individuals and families. I believe therapy begins with empathy, compassion, and
creating a space of safety and authenticity. One of my goals as a provider is to foster and
maintain a safe, comfortable, and validating environment for healing and self growth. I utilize a
holistic, person-centered, and strength-based approach when working with you on your self-
improvement and personalized treatment goals.

With a background in neuroscience, I enjoy learning more about the brain, how it works, and
how we can heal and grow through our past experiences. I primarily use evidence-based
therapy practices including MET, (Motivational Enhancement Therapy), DBT (Dialect Behavior
Therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy), and trauma informed care. I have a passion for
working with LGBTQ+, substance use, and grieving populations. In my free time I enjoy
spending time with my family, playing videogames, reading, and playing with my 2 cats. I look
forward to meeting and working with you on your healing journey.
