I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA), whose mission is to assist individuals in enhancing their skills to help them through life’s challenges. I use a person-centered approach to create a safe, understanding space for clients. I use a collaborative approach grounded in Cognitive Behavioral and Dialectical Behavioral techniques when working with clients. These two orientations help clients build practical skills, develop an understanding of thinking patterns, and create meaningful change.

I specialize in helping individuals who are experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, Adjustment Disorder, and OCD. It is my goal to offer a nonjudgmental space where clients feel supported in exploring their emotions and overcoming obstacles.
My experience in mental health began with earning my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UConn. I then started working in an intensive outpatient program at Hartford Healthcare. This was tailored to help children through group therapy. This sparked my passion for working with mental illness, which pushed me to earn my Master's degree in Clinical Counseling from Sacred Heart University and grow through diverse clinical experiences. During my master's program, I worked at Lawrence and Memorial Hospital in their adult inpatient wing, where I facilitated group therapy and supported clients in crisis. Additionally, my internship at a private practice required me to facilitate individual treatment with a broad range of ages. This helped me tailor my interventions to the client’s needs and build strong rapport through therapeutic relationships.
