Creating resilience during life’s transitions can be challenging! Whether it’s child and adolescent behaviors, family and relationship conflict, emerging adulthood, divorce, or parenthood, these transitions can bring stress and uncertainty. I’ve worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families to navigate these changes, manage mental health challenges, and build on their existing strengths. My approach is collaborative and trauma-informed, with a strong emphasis on building therapeutic rapport and creating a space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered.
I have completed clinical internships at Clifford Beers Community Care Center and the Recovery Network of Programs, where I conducted comprehensive assessments, developed individualized treatment plans, and facilitated individual and group therapy for clients with diverse and co-occurring needs. I’ve led creative expression groups for adolescents and adults at Silver Hill Hospital. I integrate evidence-based practices, including psychodynamic techniques, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy, within a client-centered framework.
I hold a Master of Social Work from Sacred Heart University, a BFA in art education from the School of Visual Arts, and a BA in communications from the University of South Florida. I bring a strengths-based, practical approach to care, helping clients build insight, articulate core values, challenge negative thoughts that affect emotions and behaviors, develop coping skills, and achieve meaningful, lasting change.
