I believe therapy works best when people feel comfortable enough to show up honestly, without feeling judged or pressured to have everything figured out. I believe in a person-centered framework, and I approach therapy as a conversation. I work with individuals, couples, families, adolescents, and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, family conflict, emotional regulation challenges, and major life transitions.
My approach is collaborative, relational, and rooted in understanding the bigger picture of a person’s experiences, including family dynamics, culture, relationships, and past experiences that may continue to impact them today. I utilize approaches including CBT, family systems therapy, Gestalt-informed techniques, Structural Therapy and emotion-focused interventions while tailoring treatment to each client’s individual needs and goals.
As a bilingual clinician (English/Spanish), I take value in creating a space where clients feel heard, understood, and able to explore challenges in a way that feels authentic to them. My goal is to help clients strengthen their communication skills, develop healthier coping strategies, and create meaningful change both individually and within their relationships.
