Life rarely changes one piece at a time. A shift in a relationship, a child’s needs, a loss, or a change in how you see yourself can affect the whole family. I work with teens, young adults, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, family and parenting concerns, trauma, and life transitions.
As one of seven children and a parent of three grown children, I understand that family life can be complicated, and that even positive changes can leave people unsure of where they stand. My approach is collaborative, practical, and grounded in the strengths each person brings to therapy. I bring warmth, honesty, and curiosity to our conversations, along with a practical focus on what feels useful in everyday life.
I believe the relationship between therapist and client is where meaningful work begins. Trust takes time, so I listen without judgment, respect each person’s pace, and welcome honest conversations about what is and isn’t working. I want clients of all identities, including LGBTQ+ clients, to feel that they can talk openly about their lives and relationships. Together, we can explore patterns, strengthen relationships, and find a way forward that fits their lives. I focus on social work’s attention to the whole person and the people and circumstances around them.
