I am a licensed marriage and family therapist and clinical supervisor with experience across private practice, community mental health, crisis services, forensic settings, and higher education. I am licensed in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New York and is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Human Development and Family Sciences at the University of Connecticut. I also work as a professor, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses across social work, marriage and family therapy, psychology, and human development and family sciences.
As a therapist, I take a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental approach to treatment. I work from a systemic and relational perspective, helping clients understand how their relationships, environments, experiences, and broader systems shape the concerns they bring to therapy. I value creating a space where clients feel comfortable discussing difficult or sensitive topics openly, while also balancing support with thoughtful challenge. My approach is individualized, culturally responsive, sex-positive, and grounded in helping clients develop insight, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful change.
I bring a similar approach to clinical supervision. I view supervision as a collaborative process that supports both clinical skill development and professional identity formation. I encourage clinicians to think critically about case conceptualization, relational dynamics, ethics, culture, and the larger systems affecting their clients. My supervision style is supportive and approachable while also emphasizing accountability, strong clinical judgment, and continued professional growth. I strive to create an environment where clinicians feel comfortable asking questions, working through uncertainty, and developing confidence in their own authentic therapeutic style.
